• ADVANCED GLASSIONOMER TYPE 2 RESTORATIVE OFFERING EXCEPTIONAL FUNCTIONAL & AESTHETIC REINFORCEMENT The GLASIONOMER RX Ease comprises of a unique Dual Technology that makes this material truly a class apart.
• The High Functional Poly Carboxylic Acid Copolymer technology allows its blending into the liquid material at significantly higher concentrations when compared to conventional acrylic acid homopolymer and thereby produces high-density ionic crosslinks between Polycarboxylic acid and multivalent metal ions thus enhancing the overall mechanical strength, acid resistance, and bond strength.
• The High Trans Fluor aluminosilicate Glass (HT Glass) technology increases the translucency of the material allowing it to blind well with the remaining tooth structure and contributing to the overall aesthetics
• The HT Glass also has a very high glass ionomer reaction i.e., acid-base reaction with Polycarboxylic acid which adds to a very sharp set of the material thus allowing a quick and easy shape modification & polishability.

Indications

• Anterior Class III & Class V restorations including cervical erosions, root abrasions, and wedge-shaped defects.
• Pediatric and geriatric restorations.
• Provisional or transient pastorates.
• Minimally Invasive restorations Posterior fillings which include non-load-bearing Class I & Class Il restorations.

Features

• Higher Translucency and Less color change after curing: The addition of HT Glass (Fluor aluminosilicate Glass and the highly reactive Polycarboxylic acid formulation significantly reduces the difference of refractive indices between the Glass Phase & the Matrix Phase and also allows early stabilization of the transparency which results in an improved overall translucency of the material and reduced color change scoring thus making it highly aesthetic and stable.
• Excellent Compressive Strength: The high functional Polycarboxylic acid copolymer is formulated at high concentrations which allows the formation of high-density ionic cross-links between Polycarboxylic acid and multivalent metal ions (Sr2, A13 +, etc) which enhances the overall mechanical properties of the material.
• Ideal Working Time & Sharp Setting offers quick shape modification & polishing procedures: Unlike conventional surface acid treatment, SHOFU employs a proprietary surface treatment that reduces surface reactivity by strengthening the bonds between elements existing in the glass surface which suppresses the elution of metal ions from the HT Glass surface only at the time of mixing powder liquid which leads to a very sharp setting and possibility quick and easy shape modification & polishing stat maintaining a comfortable working time.
• Easy mixing of powder & Liquid: The unique formulation allows easy mixing of powder and liquid and provides an ideal consistency after mixing which facilitates comfortable dispensing of the setting cement into the oral cavity with the appropriate instrument.
