Product Description

Extraordinarily sharp and mirror-like finished edges with high ductility make for excellent working characteristics.

MANI’s original 18-8 hard-fiber stainless steel prevents corrosion after repeated cleaning and sterilization.

H files, with either a cutting tip (Mani H files) or safe-ended hand files (Mani SEC-O H), are both used to grasp canal

obstructions (often gutta-percha but possibly separated files and/or carriers) and deliver them coronally through the application of an upward force.

Composition

Main materials:-

• Cutting part: Stainless steel (including nickel and chromium)
• Shank: Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT)

The cross-section of a Hedstrom file (H-file) is made up of a continuous sequence of cones.

They are very sharp with a cutting tip. Their use in a push-pull fashion results in a high level of debridement on removal from the root canal.

Precaution

Sterilize the product by autoclave and make sure sterilization is completed before using it.

Choose the most appropriate type for each case and follow the general method.

Before using that there are no deformations, scratches, and cracks.

If the head of the product is thin, long, or large, there are possibilities for breaking or twisting.

Be sure to avoid using unreasonable angles and excessive pressure.

Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes from damage.

Also, wear a dust protective mask to prevent inhaling dust.

Wear rubber dam etc. to avoid accidental ingestion and falling.

Do not use this instrument for any purposes except for the listed applications above.

Dispose of the product if damaged or contaminated.

After using, wash it with medical cleaning agent and brush, then wash away foreign substances like adherent body

fluids and body tissues.

Set the product to a stand when cleaned by the ultrasonic cleaner to avoid deterioration of the cutting part.

Use this product with great care to avoid puncturing fingers because of its possession of the sharp-edged part.

This product has the possibility that be corrosive if sunk into NaOCl, EDTA and etc. for a long time.

Direction to use

the H file is inserted beyond the obstruction, and the aforementioned upward force is delivered using the engaged flutes of the H file.

Notably, once the obstruction is bypassed, and the H file inserted beyond the obstruction, the H file is often tightly bound along its entire length.

The possibilities for apical canal transportation with an active cutting tip are very real in this environment if using an H file. Use of a Mani H file provides a relative measure

of safety against apical transportation in such circumstances.
